Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Praise (the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The Service

Praise lets you collect testimonials from your customers, review and approve submissions, and publish approved testimonials on a public “Wall of Love” page and via embeddable widgets on your own website.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• You must be legally able to enter into these Terms to use the Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit, approve, or publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Publish testimonials that weren't genuinely submitted by the person credited, or that misrepresent a real customer's views.
• Attempt to circumvent plan limits, rate limiting, or spam protections, or interfere with the Service's normal operation.
• Use the Service to collect personal data from testimonial submitters beyond what the submission form itself gathers.

Your content

You (and the customers who submit testimonials through your campaigns) retain ownership of submitted content. By approving a testimonial for publication, you confirm you have the right to display it, and you grant Praise a license to host, store, and display it as part of operating the Service (including on your Wall of Love and widgets) for as long as it remains approved.

Plans and billing

• The Free plan is limited to 1 campaign, 10 published testimonials, and 2 widgets, and displays a “Powered by Praise” badge.
• The Pro plan removes these limits and the badge, for the subscription fee shown at checkout. Purchases are made through our reseller of record, Paddle.com, who handles billing, payment processing, and sales tax/VAT.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from Settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or where required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, though we may retain data as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any testimonial content submitted by third parties is accurate or truthful — that responsibility rests with the workspace owner who approves it for publication.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Praise will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
